Mike Ogborne
Founder, Managing Partner
Mike Ogborne is the Founder and Managing partner of Ogborne Capital Management, LLC. During Mr. Ogborne's 30-year career he has invested in and advised companies in the technology and consumer sectors. Since founding OCM in 2011, he has utilized his wide range of experience to successfully invest in these sectors. Prior to founding OCM in September 2011 Mr. Ogborne was a Partner at Peninsula Capital Management from 2004 to 2008. From 1999 to 2002, he was a Founding Partner of Thomas Weisel Partners as Director of Corporate Finance and Member of the Management Committee. From 1998 to 1999, Mr. Ogborne was a Partner and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Wessels, Arnold & Henderson, LLC. Mr. Ogborne earned a MA in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Richmond.
David Greer
Chief Operating Officer
David Greer is the Chief Operating Officer at OCM. Mr. Greer is responsible for managing Operations, Compliance and Investor Relations at OCM. Mr. Greer was an Original L.P. of OCM. Prior to joining OCM in June 2017, Mr. Greer was a Partner and Managing Director of FBR Capital Markets and Head of the San Francisco office from 2007-2017. Prior to that he was an early employee with Friedman Billings Ramsey Group (precursor to FBR Capital Markets). Mr. Greer has extensive experience in the Financial Services and Credit sectors. Mr. Greer earned a BA from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Lucy Chen
Research Analyst
Lucy Chen is an Investment Analyst at OCM. Her primary focus is on the Consumer Technology, Internet Media and Business Services sectors. Prior to joining OCM in September 2016, Ms. Chen was an investment banker at Cowen & Company. Previously, she worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in Baird’s Consumer Group. Ms. Chen earned a BBA in Finance, Investment and Banking from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Ms. Chen is from Shanghai and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese.
